Our Philosophy
Now more than ever, we hear the term “indoor playground” and “kids’ gym.” As parents ourselves, we have taken our children to virtually every location within the tri-county area. They enjoy most of the places we go, and we are happy when our kids are happy. However, it seems most of the facilities we visit promote only physical play and gross motor skills, and not much related to cognition and fine motor skills. To be honest, they did many of the same things at home that they did in these expensive kids' gyms and bounce house or trampoline parks. We yearned for a place that promoted the belief that learning is fun and that learning and play could be one in the same.
At our unplugged indoor playground you can feel assured that you are investing your time and money in a meaningful way for your most precious resource, your child. Our Montessori-inspired facility is clean, safe, calm, and stimulating and consists of learning play stations with natural materials and no batteries to promote various types of play for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children.
Established in 2008, The Bee’s Knees Learn & Play® is a family owned and operated academic indoor playground with a research-based philosophy that children learn best through play. Just wholesome, old-school fun where we live by the philosophy:

Our Team
- Suzanne, founder and owner-operator, has graduate degrees in education and has taught middle and high school English and Reading for over 30 years
- Sophia, open play & party facilitator and designer, recent high school graduate, AICE diploma Merit recipient, and Bright Futures Scholar Award
- Lucas, heavy mover, recent high school graduate, AICE diploma recipient, and Bright Futures Scholar Award
- Sebastian, heavy mover, AICE diploma recipient, Bright Futures Scholar Award, and political science major at FAU
- Camilo, MBA, emotional support system who helps by staying away and letting us do our thing
Maria--works the weekday day shifts and is the one who actually runs the place. When not working, she spends time with her triplets and husband
